Tai Ping Restaurant was established in 1982, and is a family run business, well known by its regular clientele.  A direct translation of the restaurant’s name which is Cantonese in origin is “Peace and Tranquility”, which best describes the very laid back and relaxed atmosphere synonymous with this restaurant.
Two talented chefs from Guangzhou in China ensure that the dishes prepared are authentically Cantonese and Szechuan.
Some of the popular dishes by which Tai Ping Restaurant is well known for are: The crispy aromatic duck, which consists of spiced, deboned, sliced duck with spicy salt and plum sauce. Honey garlic ribs, succulent bite sized pieces, deep fried and mixed with honey and garlic, Kung po chicken, which is deep fried infusing the flavors of chilli, cashew nuts and vegetables, among others. Also served are sizzling dishes like beef or calamari, hot pot dishes as well as crispy calamari, ensuring that all tastes and preferences are met!
